Does anyone see anything wrong with this picture? Here we are appreciating the grandeur of the Statue of Liberty, properly listening to our audio guides, when a group of Crown Heads come in whipping out their cameras! I mean can we trivialize the monument any more?

Santa Monica sponsors Thursday summer evening concerts on the pier. It's nearly impossible to find anyone you are supposed to meet at a gathering like this. I received a Facebook event saying BBQ to the left of the stairs. I went through a sea of people until I gave up and joined some others I knew.

Hug Deli

Anna and I participate in the Hug Deli. You can hear the laughter and commentary of Mike and Paige. We walked by it in Santa Monica. It caught my curiosity as I thought it was an interesting place for a hot dog stand. We were very quick to get in the action after we read the sign.
