Santa Monica sponsors Thursday summer evening concerts on the pier. It's nearly impossible to find anyone you are supposed to meet at a gathering like this. I received a Facebook event saying BBQ to the left of the stairs. I went through a sea of people until I gave up and joined some others I knew.
Anna and I participate in the Hug Deli. You can hear the laughter and commentary of Mike and Paige. We walked by it in Santa Monica. It caught my curiosity as I thought it was an interesting place for a hot dog stand. We were very quick to get in the action after we read the sign.
This band was awesome! They performed during the half time show at the Roller Derby in LA. So, during the middle of their act two skeletons chicks come out with donuts on a rope! They said the only rule was, you couldn't use your hands. I was the first to volunteer of course!

Birthday humiliation continues. If you are friends with the LMG prepare to be completely humiliated on your birthday. So we had our two friends here dress up like beggars. They held signs at an intersection on Sepulveda and begged for pennies.
